Sandwich golf fundraiser August 15
SANDWICH, Mass. (June 29, 2005) - The Sandwich Realtors Scholarship Committee and Tuohy Sports & Entertainment present a special golf fundraiser August 15 at Sandwich Hollows Golf Course to raise scholarship funds for college-bound Sandwich residents.
The Sandwich Realtors Scholarship Foundation is comprised of the eight realtor companies in Sandwich. Board members include Kris Chalke, President, Century 21 Cape Sales; Maureen Wolk, Vice President, Century 21 Cape Sales; Karen Michels, Treasurer, Beach Reality; Mari Sennott, Secretary, Today Real Estate.
A Shotgun start commences at 1:30 pm. Celebrity guests will include former Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots players, as well as popular television and radio personalities. Cost to play is $150.00 per person; hole sponsorships are $100.00 apiece. The hole in one prize is a 2005 GMC Denali, courtesy of Robertson's GMC in Wareham. Dinner,
auctions, raffles, and prizes will be after the tournament ends. Dinner only is $50.
Scholarships are open to seniors who are Sandwich residents and attend Sandwich High School, Upper Cape Regional Vocational Tech, Sacred Heart, Falmouth Academy, Cape Cod Academy, Sturgis Charter School or Tabor Academy.
The committee hopes to exceed last year's sum of $2,000 raised for the scholarship fund.
