Hank
Tuohy has a lot going on. In addition to promoting and
organizing several boxing shows and golf tournaments, his Hank
Tuohy Sports and Entertainment produces and owns the “Pros on
Pros” radio show, heard Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. on AM 1510 The
Zone.
The program bills itself as a
“media-free zone” and features the thoughts of those people
who play or played the games. Paul Stewart and Jim Corsi
host the show. Tim Fox, Pete Brock and dozens of current and
former athletes have been featured.
“I won’t do negative radio,” says
Tuohy. “Our show focuses on the athlete’s perspective.
The callers and listeners can get more information from athletes
than they do from the media.”
“Pros on Pros” broadcasts from the Stadium
Sports Bar in South Boston and hopes to emanate from other such
bars including the Emerald Rose in Billerica. Tuohy is also
working with Comcast CN8 on upcoming boxing productions. Log
